Schools Are Encouraged To Participate

Local schools are encouraged to use this medium as a learning tool. Field trips to historical marker locations in your area might be one way to introduce students to the history of their county. Pictures of the makers, marker text, marker numbers, student participants, and related pictures and text along with sources submitted to this site will be inserted into the appropriate marker page. Classes who submit information will be recognized as school, teacher, grade, student researchers.
